A Saturday morning performance in the Wells Fargo parking lot, looking out on to Interstate Avenue, Portland, Oregon. Lou Watson and Finnian Peck on harp, and the Harriet Tubman Center for Expanded Curatorial Practice on percussion.
Portland2019 Biennial, co-curated by Yaelle S. Amir, Elisheba Johnson and Ashley Stull Meyers
For Portland2019 I made new work based on Interstate Avenue, which runs from outside the biennial venue (Disjecta) all the way down the city to the south. The finished work was a series of paper scores, a video installation and a live performance. I called the series Look both Ways on Interstate Avenue (because stuff's worth it). This name came from a frame from the video piece.
